“Hope’s Promise in the Midnight” is a message on the importance of mental health, and how we can take the steps needed to the light at the end of the tunnel. The message hopes to communicate that hope is not extinguished by the darkness, but rather shines most brightly precisely when everything seems darkest.

Dr. Joyce Chan graduated with a PhD (Management) in the University of Canberra and specialises in work relating to the correctional system in Singapore, including offender rehabilitation. Dr. Joyce holds a Master in Social Science (Counselling) and is a Master Clinical Member and a Registered Clinical Supervisor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). She currently sits on the Executive Board of the Singapore Association for Counselling and is involved with the Association of Christian Counselling Singapore. Dr. Joyce is an Associate Licensed Minister with Assemblies of God Singapore and has been serving actively in her church. Her ministry extends to the social service sector where she has been involved for the last 25 years.
